1. Company Information
Charter One Yachts operates private yacht charters aboard The Summer Wind, departing primarily from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
2. Reservations and Payments
- A signed charter agreement and deposit are required to confirm all bookings.
- Final payment is due 10 business days prior to your scheduled event.
- Accepted payment methods include credit card, ACH, and check (subject to clearance).
- Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed in writing.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date will receive a refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable.
- In the event of severe weather or mechanical failure, Charter One Yachts reserves the right to reschedule or provide a credit toward a future event.
4. Weather and Safety
- Charters operate rain or shine. The Captain has sole discretion to modify routes, delay departure, or cancel a charter due to unsafe conditions.
- Safety instructions provided by the crew must be followed at all times.
- Guests under the influence of illegal substances or exhibiting unsafe behavior may be refused boarding or removed from the vessel.
5. Food, Beverages, and Alcohol
- All catering and bar service must be arranged through Charter One Yachts or an approved vendor.
- No outside alcohol or food is permitted unless authorized in writing.
- Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol on board.
6. Event Conduct and Damages
- The charterer is responsible for the conduct of all guests during the event.
- Any damage to The Summer Wind, its equipment, or furnishings caused by guests will be charged to the charterer.
- Charter One Yachts is not liable for lost or stolen personal property.
7. Liability and Indemnification
By boarding The Summer Wind, all guests agree to release Charter One Yachts, its owners, crew, and affiliates from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Photography and Marketing
Charter One Yachts may capture photos or video during events for marketing purposes. Guests who prefer not to be included in promotional materials should notify the crew in writing before boarding.
9. Website Use
- All content on this website—including images, text, and design—is the property of Charter One Yachts and may not be reproduced without permission.
- Information provided is for general purposes and may change without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in Broward County, Florida.
