Miami Corporate Event ThemesNothing leaves a more striking and unforgettable impression on staff members than holding your company’s event on a private yacht. Combine breathtaking water views, delectable cuisine, a variety of corporate event themes and team building ideas, and your staff will feel truly rewarded. Charter One has years of experience managing events for corporations of any size. Here are some unique tips for your next Miami corporate event. One way to make sure your upcoming event runs smoothly is to choose a theme. There are numerous corporate event themes available that will help add a little flair and spice things up. The following are popular themes:A sophisticated, formal function is a great way to highlight a specific company event or award ceremony, and incorporating a theme can prevent it from being stuffy and uncomfortable. Masquerade balls give off an atmosphere of high society mixed with the unusual. Employees can win prizes for the best costume or most creative mask. Adding a string quartet or human statues will get your employees talking.Bring back the “Mad Men” era with a distinctive 1960’s theme. Serve food and include decorations that portray this classic period, in addition to having employees dress the part. Hire a professional photographer that has 1960’s themed backdrops and let your employees have fun reenacting scenes from their favorite Mad Men episode.
Other fun corporate event themes include Rockin’ the Night Away (think 1950’s), a corporate roast, Salsa Night, Tropical Luau, or Saturday Night Fever. In addition to a special theme, you should consider using team building exercises as a way to get employees to interact. Team building exercises and games improve communication, increase employee motivation, boost morale and build stronger team members. They are also a great way to warm-up or liven up any event. The following are various team building ideas for your event:Two Truths and a Lie is a great icebreaker. Have each person write down two truths and one lie about themselves. When complete, allow 10 minutes for open communication. Everyone should quiz each other on their three items. Participants should convince one another that their lie is actually a truth. After the ten period minute is over, each participant should repeat his or her three statements and everyone should vote on which statement is the lie. Points can be awarded for each lie guessed correctly. This game allows for better communication and helps you learn more about your staff. The Coin Logo is a fun exercise that allows groups to work together. Have each team member empty their pockets (or purses) of any coins, pens or other fun items that can be used in the game. Select teams consisting of three to six people. Instruct each team to design a logo using their materials and coins that represents them as a team/department/group. After ten minutes, have each group explain why they chose that logo design and how it represents them. This activity encourages mutual awareness and helps employees get to know each other on a more personal level.By incorporating a unique theme and enjoyable team building exercises, your next themed Miami corporate event can become a memorable day (or night) for employees.
