Congratulations to Anthony Coal Fire Pizza and Big 105.9 – Winner of “Best in Sound”

Big 105.9This year’s Winterfest Boat Parade marked the 40th Anniversary of the Parade themed “Rockin’ Boats & Holiday Floats.” Nearly 100 boats from compact cruisers to massive barges were all adorned in holiday decorations as they set navigated from downtown Fort Lauderdale up the Intracostal waterways.  Charter One was proud to take place in the celebrations by having two vessels participate: the Floridian Princess and the Summer Wind.Special congratulations to Anthony Coal Fire Pizza and Big105.9 who won “Best in Sound” in the Showboat Category of the Winterfest Boat Parade winners. Anthony Coal Fire Pizza and Big105.9 were aboard Charter One’s Summer Wind .
The votes for this year’s parade entries were cast by these prestige judges – Rear Admiral William Baumgartner – Seventh Coast Guard District, Kin Shriner – Actor, Ina Lee – CEO Travel Host Fort Lauderdale, James Heidish – President Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale and Honorable Jack Seiler – Mayor of Fort Lauderdale. Winners received their award at the Winterfest® Winners Circle event, hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau on February 29, 2011.
