On Friday, May 13th of this year, Hospice by the Sea held the first-ever 9-hole “Tee by the Sea” charity golf tournament on a corporate yacht charter with Charter One yachts. Hundreds of golfers, influential guests and spectators from Broward and Palm Beach were greeted with champagne before departing from the Bahia Mar Marina in Fort Lauderdale. The fun-filled evening was complete with a little friendly competition, a selection of dining options, open bars, live music and an awards ceremony with several amazing prizes for the winners in the Singles, Foursomes and “Grand Hacker” golf categories. All proceeds have gone to benefit Hospice by the Sea’s programs and services for patients and families in Palm Beach and Broward counties.
