In 1997, Matthew Talchik founded Charter One with the goal of combining his love for the sea and background in the hospitality and service industry into his own business venture.

From chartering small dinner cruises, to the purchase of his first yacht, The Summer Wind, and the most recent acquisition in 2006 of The Grand Floridian; Talchik’s dedication to providing first class luxury charter experiences has never waivered.

Today, the mission of Charter One's management and staff; from the reservation agents, and event planners, to the captain, chef, and crew, is to deliver premier cruise experience, and exceptional service, focused on providing guests a distinctive, and memorable experience.
